*Can you recommend a van to buy?

All of our standard designs fit into either a Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer or a Citroen Relay. These vans are ideal for campervan conversions - wide enough for a bed to be installed widthways and short in length so easier to drive.

*Can you buy a van for me?

We now offer a van sourcing service! This costs £1500 (+VAT) in addition to the cost of the vehicle, and includes sourcing of the vehicle, 200 point AA inspection report, vehicle collection, we fix any issues that arise whilst the van is being converted and a new MOT once the van is fully converted.

*How much will I have to spend on a base vehicle?

As of May 2024, you will probably need to spend £19k - £25k to buy a decent van for conversion.

*What do you look for when you are buying vans?

There is unfortunately no magic trick to buying vans. We just go with the rule - as new and as low mileage as your budget allows. We also recommend taking out a full AA inspection before making the purchase.

*I don’t have a van yet. Is this a problem?

No, you don’t need to have bought a van before we can book you in. We do however need you to decide on what base vehicle you will end up purchasing so we can work out viable layouts for that vehicle. Once you are booked in, we will give you a date (typically 1 week before the build starts) in which you must get the van to us by.

*How do I book a conversion slot with yourselves?

Once we have decided on a basic layout and you have chosen which standard features you would like included in your campervan, we can then issue an itemised estimate which clearly shows the cost of every section of the conversion. A deposit of a third of the estimated total is then required to hold a conversion slot.

*Do I need to decide on every fixture and fitting before booking a conversion slot?

No, once you are booked in we then go into the design stage and we work out the details surrounding optional extras, colours and finishes.

*How long does it take for you to convert a van?

This varies depending on the level of fixtures and fittings you decide upon but typically we can convert a van in 8 - 12 weeks.

*Do you convert Electric vans (EV) into campers?

Yes we can! This is an exciting time in the shift away from fossil fuel powered vehicles and toward more sustainable electric vehicles. The electric vans now available can reach a range of +150 miles between charges and the rapid charging points available in the UK and throughout Europe are becoming more common. In our team, we have experience in designing leisure battery systems to suit any requirement and we have expert knowledge in EV charging. As with all our vans, we try to use environmentally friendly materials wherever possible and promote the use of solar to power our appliances.

*If I pay a deposit to secure a conversion slot and then decide to cancel will I get my deposit back?

We have a cancellation charge which protects us against last minute disappearing acts. We charge 20% of the deposit total if we cannot easily fill the now vacant conversion slot.

*Do you provide a warranty with your conversions?

Yes! We give a year’s comprehensive warranty on all cabinets, fixtures and fittings installed and supplied by ourselves. However, any accidental damage during use is not covered by our warranty. The warranty does not extend to the mechanical side of the vehicle either.

*Can I supply my own fixtures and fittings?

No. We cannot accept items bought directly by our clients as this creates issues surrounding the warranty supplied with our vans.

*Do you carry out part conversions?

Unfortunately not at this time. We hope to be able to provide this service in the future.

*Do you convert vintage vans?

We love vintage campers however we have decided to only focus on newer vehicles which not only comply with current Clean Air Zone restrictions currently being rolled out throughout Europe but ultimately cause as little harm to the environment as possible.

*Do you convert VW Transporters?

Yes, we can now offer the Mint look for VW Transporters.
